Journey to Remember-I

I checked the time; two ticking brothers of my watch were about to meet at eleven. Train was already running late by thirty minutes. I was going to reach Warangal Station in fifteen minutes. I reminded myself the reasons and driving force to start this journey. I didn't have clear idea as to what I would be doing in the next week, though my friend kept me well informed through several mails and meeting me in person. The only thing I knew was that “the work” is a social internship program and HoneyBeeAP is organising it. After reaching Warangal we were told the program is named GYANSODH and it is jointly organised by HoneyBeeAP and National Innovation Foundation. After brief introduction and clear presentations giving a glimpse of the work that should be done, we were told about the Hachu Thanda trip the next day and my team mate was KG. “Thanda” means a group of houses in the local Lambada language. And our work in the Thanda was to go on scouting the village in search of evaporating knowledge and innovations.

We started at 9 AM from NIT warangal and reached Hanmakonda bus stand. We travelled to Thorrur which is 60 kms away from warangal and took an auto to go to Hachu Thanda.Slowly Pucca road has turned into a Mud road. After 10 mins of journey from Thorrur we reached Hachu Thanda, the village that we were going to stay for the next two days. As our sir has already made arrangements for us to stay in the village, I called the person who was to take the responsibility of our boarding and lodging.

Me: Sir is it Naik?

Villager on the other side: Yeah this is naik.

Me: Sir, We are coming from NIT warangal. We reached your village. Our Brigadier sir might have already told you about us. so where can we meet u?

Villager : Ha K. Who is your sir? Why do you need me?

Me and KG were shocked to hear this from Naik.

Me: Sir , We were sent to your village by Ganesham sir, and told that we will be provided accommodation in the school.

Villager: Okay,u wait near the school.

Me and KG walked back to the School. It had only one room, from 1st to fifth. We met the principal of the school and introduced ourselves. After knowing that we were going to stay for two days he suggested us to make our own arrangements. He said we could stay in the school and have food in any house by paying money. Hospitable invitations come from most of the villagers when an unknown enters into a remote village, unlike in the cities .Though the arrangements weren't made to us it wasn't a problem for us. In the conversation with head master we came to know that there are only 100 families in the village. This thanda has only three family names,; guglothu banothu and dharavatu. During the conversation, suddenly came a man with good physique, yellowish eyes and white beard running towards us and introduced himself. Later he told that the phone was lifted by his brother who is unaware of our purpose of coming here. He asked us to keep our bags in the school and join them for lunch. After lunch we were surrounded by children who kept on pouring questions about the purpose of our visit. To our surprise, they talk very confidently, even a 7 year old boy speaks like ripen expert. They never hang around with book like 'The monk who sold his Ferrari' to show the kind of, nature and their living conditions teach them. We placed our bags on one of the five benches of a small room. Maps of Andhra Pradesh and India were hanging on the wall and names of Student committee members were hanging opposite to each other. After lunch we thought of walking round the cross country to get acquainted with the village. Most of the houses were newly constructed and some were in the middle of construction, funded by INDIRAMMA Project of AP Govt.

Our Sir had already instructed us to meet the woman named Sony, who has gift of the gab. We decided to meet her in the evening. It was pleasured trip as we got company.. It was evening 5 30pm, though we had lunch, we were VERY hungry. It was the children of the village who were with us and they became our “Annadatas” and guess what we were served on the way to Sony’s house!! -Clustered tamarind leaves and the left out ground nuts on the ploughed fields. The most amusing that happened to us!

Coming back, the purpose of our visit couldn’t be accomplished as we aren't able to get more out of that loquacious person, Sony, as she was busy in household work. By sunset we are back to the school and had dinner at Naik's house. The time is 8:30 pm and it was time for bed! ( I never slept in my room before 12 a.m. :P :D). 14 year lad entertained us by singing folk songs. I couldn’t have found a better place to sleep neither in the polluted cities nor in my stinking Hostel-it’s on the roof top of the house with cool breeze overlooking the fields! I was there with all my senses under the beautifully decorated sky with the bright stars and an ever attracting full Moon. Sounds Heaven! Isn’t it?

WAKE UP

I never thought that i will write a post in my blog before sunrise. I thought to write this post two days earlier but because of my laziness I can't able to do it. As I woke up early I thought to take bath now.(oh nooo what happened to me??). It is covered with fog outside my room so there is no way for me. Two days back When I am about to wake up I got a small dream. I started questioning myself why should I wake up?!! Then my answers were "There are two reasons for getting up one is obvious reason and the other is special reason. Obvious reason is of two two types either it may be scheduled that is by taking help of alarm and other one is you may not able to sleep more. Special reasons are either you may have tut or TEST. Finally I decided that everyone should wake up to make others believe that we are still alive. Hey, remember it is a dream. Yeah now I can see sunlight in my QT. K, I am going for brushing :D :D :D :D :D

It's been a long time that i didn't write any post in my blog. I want to update it with my memories starting from OASIS to meeting all my school frnds on the last day of my vacation. But having a habit of procrastinating things., didn't write any.My reason for writing a blog is just to share(??? how can i write this without telling my frnds abt my blog) my feelings. But from now I want to keep my blog alive so will try to update it regularly. Interesting things are happening around me.Third party software transformed into virus completely and ruined the whole computer. In this process also the computers that are affined with it in the network were also affected slightly.I'll try to update u with all the details ASAP

My friends account me as a white-livered guy as i am afraid of small issues.
For me, there are some reasons to behave like that.

Last year after enjoying my summer holidays,I started back to my college.I had to travel for 40 hrs from my home to reach my college.usually we travel in groups of 14 or 15. We try to spend the time gossiping, playing cards, reading magazines. This time a new old friend of mine(my ex-school frnd who is studying in some reputed commerce college)joined in my gang. I introduced him to all my college friends. being a loquacious person, he mingled with my friends easily. As he is a commerce student most of the discussion was on stocks and economic issues. After a long chat, he went to his coach which was three coaches far away from mine. He asked me to come to his berth whenever I am free.

I went to his coach almost at 11'o clock in the night and we started chatting. After some time a train halted in a station. We both like to have coffee in chilled weather. So got down the train and looked for a coffee stall. It was 200 meters far from us in the direction that the train was moving. So we went there and ordered a coffee, as no one is there he served very fast.We both heard the train whistle. But we both thought that the sound came from some other train. We both were shocked to see train moving. As the train was moving very slowly I moved and tried to push the entrance of my coach but it was locked from inside. I yelled to the person who is standing behind the door to open it. I didn't know whether he tried or not but the door was not opened and I am still moving beside my coach.Train gained speed, I started feeling tense.I am trying to find the alternatives, but there is very less time to think as the train is gaining speed second by second. My mind turned blank I forgot all the physics laws that i studied in my life. I forgot the relative motion concept and started running in the direction which the train was moving. If a stand there and wait for a few seconds I can easily get into my friend's coach as we got down only few minutes back we can expect the door to be open. I threw the coffee cup and started running By seeing me, my frnd also started running. I was still running thinking what should I say to my loving mother who repeatedly says me not to step down from train in stations. If I was left in this station, should i catch the another train which is coming back? Should I call my home and say that I missed my train when I got down for a coffee? :(( :(( :((
Beside these thoughts, I was still running and I noticed that the door was opened in one coach which is very near. I reached the coach and one passenger gave me his hand and helped me to get into the coach. My friend was also pulled into the coach
We landed in a general coach where we didn't get place even to stand. We enquired the fellow passenger when the next station would come. As it was SUPER FAST EXPRESS he told that it might take atleast four hours. I started scolding myself for getting down the train.I spent the whole four hours thinking that I was standing on a frying pan though the weather was chilling outside.I remembered that I gave my cell to my college frnd to keep it with him before coming to my frnd's coach and none of them know my friends cell number I don't know how my friends would have known about me If i was left in the station. They can find me missing whenever the train reaches destination.
Many thoughts were running my mind ,if the train halts in next station only for two minutes and if I find my coach was locked, should I run and get into the same coach I was standing. What should I do if the platform comes on the opposite side to me where I was standing, can I able to ask the people who were sitting down to give me place to reach the door?

I was pleased to see a big station where the train will halt for atleast 15 min because I should go now and knock the door as it might be locked because of cold weather outside. As platform was there on my opposite side it took me five minutes to cross all the people who were sitting down.
I ran like a mad dog and felt happy to see that my coach's door was not locked.I got into the coach, asked for water and started telling the whole situation what was happened. They laughed at me because I never get down a train though I know that it stops for half an hour,I faced a horrible situation as it was the first time that I got down bagging all my courage to have a small cup of coffee.

Any way I got a nice experience that we should not get down train in winter in nights as everyone like to lock the door and windows. Though we shout no one will hear us and try to stop the train by pulling chain :P :P
